Kristin Vartan is a distinguished anchor and reporter most recently on FOX40 News in Sacramento. She has contributed on-camera stories to FOX News, FOX Weather, NewsNation, FOX 11 Los Angeles, and KRON4 San Francisco.
During her seven years across broadcast, print, and digital journalism, Kristin has excelled in political and entertainment coverage. Her interviews have ranged from Governor Gavin Newsom and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to Hollywood A-listers, including Harrison Ford. She has bylines in E! News, The Hollywood Reporter, Billboard Magazine, and Entertainment Weekly, where she honed her interviewing skills and has reported at the American Music Awards, The Emmys, and Oscars.
A California native, Kristin is a graduate of Pepperdine University with a master’s from University of Southern California, Annenberg School of Journalism. She is a first generation American, growing up in a home of resilient immigrants of Iranian Armenian and Assyrian descent. Additionally, Kristin has been featured in Vogue, E! News, Women’s Wear Daily, and MTV, underscoring her influence and reach in the media industry. She has also been recognized for her work as a broadcast journalist by the California State Senate.
