It was such an honor to co-emcee APAPA HQ – Asian Pacific Islander American Public Affairs National Unity Awards Gala, celebrating the 30th anniversary of Yin Ranch and 22 years of APAPA with its 50 chapters across the United States. 150 elected officials were also in attendance, including CA Governor Gavin Newsom and CA Lt Governor Eleni Kounalakis. I’m an on-camera reporter, anchor, weather anchor and writer who goes deep into the heart of storytelling while showing up with a warmth and energy that keeps audiences entertained. In all creative aspirations I plan to either foster joy, inform or bring awareness to important issues to humanity. I find creative ways to brings awareness to important and relatable issues, to give a voice to the voiceless, whether on a global, national or local level. I’m able to connect on a personal level with people and establish trust to help them express themselves and share their stories. As a television reporter and social media personality, I utilize my wide audience on-air and online to be an ambassador for my community.
